If you’re a Mighty No 9 backer like myself, you should be well aware that the game was delayed for a Q1 2016 release. Sad news, when you were eagerly expecting the game for September 2015…
To make up for it, Comcept promised a special demo to all backers, which was supposed to come out on the 15th of this month.Yet, bad news strike again. According to a announcement on the official Mighty no 9 web site, the team behind the game “ran into some very last-minute and unexpected complications with distributing the demo exclusively to all backers through Steam”. Because of these issues, the demo will now be DRM-free and no longer subject of any time restrictions.
Comcept is currently looking into ways to deliver the demo to each backer individually. They are even working now with Humble Bundle for a delivery through their services.
How are you feeling about this? I don’t know about you but this image (courtesy of Kevin Bolk) sums up how I feel:
