- Strenghtening and rebooting IPs on both console and smartphone/tablet devices
- Creating new IPs
- Collaborating with partner companies
For HD games, we should expect the upcoming release of Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One) and Just Cause 3 (PS4/Xbox One/PC) during this holiday season.
Still, no planned release for Final Fantasy XV (PS4/Xbox One), Deux Ex: Mankind Divided (PS4/Xbox One/PC), Dragon Quest Heroes 2 (PS4/PS3/PS Vita) and Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness (PS4/PS3).
Regarding MMOs, Square Enix will release expansion packs to current IPs: the expansion pack for Dragon Quest X already came on April 2015 and Heavensward for Final Fantasy XIV will arrive this June.
On smartphones and tablets, sales for Square Enix are growing steadily with plans of annoucing new IPs.
