Venture Beat has published an interesting article that suggests that Nintendo is currently winding down Wii U development as it focusses on the recently announced NX platform. We know there’s already been plenty of speculation on the web that The Legend of Zelda Wii U will be on both platforms similar to how Nintendo managed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We don’t know anything for sure, but with Nintendo only showing Wii U titles for 2015 it has clearly got everyone talking. Here’s what the Venture Beat analyst had to say.
“While the Wii U has around 380 console exclusive titles, the majority were launched 2013,” said Stewart Rogers of VentureBeat Insight. “Fewer exclusives were made available in 2014. In this respect, the Wii U is on the wrong side of the bell curve and Nintendo appear to have been winding it down already.”
